Silver Star Designs was founded by Annabelle Bowman-Shaw, bringing together a lifelong passion for sewing, craftsmanship, and beautifully made interiors.

Annabelle began her career in the fashion industry as a sample machinist for a leading designer before going on to establish her own bespoke sewing business. After taking time away to raise her family, she returned to what she has always loved most: creating beautifully crafted pieces by hand. Drawing on decades of experience and an appreciation for traditional techniques, she founded Silver Star Designs.

Specialising in bespoke curtains, Roman blinds, lampshades, upholstery, and embroidered details, Annabelle creates made-to-order pieces that bring warmth, character, and individuality to every home. From elegant window treatments to carefully crafted finishing touches, each commission is approached with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Alongside her soft furnishings work, Annabelle offers an in-house embroidery service, allowing clients to add thoughtful, personal touches to their interiors. Whether it's a delicate monogram, decorative trim, or a completely bespoke design, every detail is carefully considered and beautifully executed.
